So, ya wanna be a ThirdStone Artist?!

GREAT!!!!!! WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU.....

Artists from all over the world are welcome to apply.... We're dedicated to showing the best work available on the planet (Planet ThirdStone, of course!) and, we have a number of ways we can work together....

Okay..here's the deal.....(and, please, be sure to read this section completely before contacting us...if you choose to ignore this information, please don't expect a reply.)

First of all, Welcome! New artists are always welcome to submit their work for consideration as potential new ThirdStone Gallery artists... We are always, without exception, willing to consider any and all artists that pass through this portal.

HOWEVER.....

Accordingly, we need to operate under a few ground rules to help manage our workload here...Aside from that, to keep things fair, we must require that all potential rtists follow these simple procedures...

On the flip side of that particular coin.... If you choose to simply call or Email us without respect for these procedures...well, just don't bother. You cannot be considered and you won't receive a reply; you don't get a second chance and no excuse for "not being aware" of these procedures is acceptable...a link to this page is on every main page of this site... Okay?

Great! Now that we have that straight, let's get started....

1. (BIG ONE, HERE FOLKS...):
DON'T email us attachments of images of your work (or, anything else for that matter). YOU NEED TO CONTACT US FIRST AS FOLLOWS...

2. WHEN YOU DO FIRST CONTACT US, be sure to include ALL of the following in an email:

   - Your full name and mailing address, your phone number and your email address

  - A brief and concise description of your work (INCLUDING media, size range and price     range (RETAIL prices only....)

  - your artist's statement

  - URL's where we can see your work (if on the web), properly linked in the email so     we can just click it..... if you don't know how to do so, please find out first.... Multiple     links are acceptable and welcome...

SUBMITTALS BY POSTAL MAIL:

This is even simpler and, really, our preferred method of receiving artist submittals...Plus, you can send your images and your info all at the same time. Be sure to include your email address too.....

- Send all of the stuff listed above PLUS as many sample images as you like (prints, photographic prints, images on diskette, cd or Zip disk (make sure they're in pc "windows" format though...) Slides are okay too but not our preference......
